Spicy Lemon Chicken Marinade

 The BBQ secret weapon

Spicy Lemon Chicken Marinade

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Chutree Spicy Lemon Chutney 🫙
  • 800g Chicken thighs or breast, skinless
  • 150g Natural Greek yoghurt
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, grated
  • 1 tsp Ground coriander
  • To serve: Flatbreads, or Rice 

Method

  1. Mix the Spicy Lemon chutney, yoghurt, olive oil, garlic and coriander in a bowl.
  2. Score the chicken deeply several times to help the marinade penetrate.
  3. Coat in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight is better.
  4. Grill on high for 5–6 minutes per side until charred and cooked through, OR bake at 200°C for 25–30 minutes.
  5. Warm the flatbreads, slice the chicken and pile onto the flatbreads with mint yoghurt. Or Serve on a bed of rice.
